The Oscar Grant Ribbon Mural will be unveiled today. Created by the
"Soul of the City Campaign," the mural was made by the residents of
Oakland FreshFest that took place in Mosswood Park some time ago. Everyone was invited to tie ribbons on the mural with prayers
for the memory of Oscar Grant, his family, and hopes for a better
Oakland.
Today's unveiling and celebration is sponsored by "Soul of The City" and the "Field of Dreams" and will be taking place at the Revolution Cafe' in West Oakland from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Revolution Cafe' is located at 1612 7th Street
Oakland.
